Guidance pages change constantly, and most of the changes are noise: a reformatted page, a new review date, a moved paragraph. A few are substantive and invalidate a lesson or a resource somewhere downstream.
The review workflow maps each official source to the resources that depend on it. When a source changes, it asks whether the change is substantive, whether the page was merely re-dated, and which resources are affected or due.
One review covered thirty-three sources and thirty-four affected or due resources, and produced nine substantive lesson updates. Another change correctly required no rewrite of the mapped material. Being able to explain why nothing needs changing is part of the system, not a gap in it.
