What this site collects, which is very little.
This is a personal website run by Joshua Mangas. There are no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. The only personal data it handles is what you choose to send through the contact form.
The contact form
When you send a message, your name, email address, chosen topic and message are sent to me as an email through Resend, a transactional email provider based in the United States. I keep the message in my mailbox for as long as the conversation needs, and delete it when it is over or when you ask. Resend keeps delivery logs for a short period under its own terms. I use this data only to reply to you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering messages sent to me, and you can object or ask for deletion at any time.
The form has a hidden field and a minimum fill time to catch bots, and a cap on how many messages one address can send in a short period. None of that stores anything about you after the request completes.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host it keeps standard request logs, which include the IP address, browser type, page requested and time, for a short period for security and to keep the service running. I do not add any analytics of my own.
Locket
The daily puzzle stores your progress and results in your own browser's local storage. Nothing from the game is sent to me or to anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Links to other sites
The site links to X, LinkedIn, GitHub, governanceassurance.co.uk and netcallumpire.com. Each has its own privacy notice, which applies once you leave this site.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to my using it. Use the contact form and I will respond within a month. If you are unhappy with how I handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If anything here changes I will update this page and the date at the top.
